Egbert-Jan Lam set up buroJET in 2001. Today, both he and buroJET are based in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Egbert-Jan has participated in several international design exhibitions with Amsterdam-based Droog design and the Design Academy Eindhoven. Moreover, his work has been exhibited in Milan, New York, Hong Kong and London. BuroJET designs and develops own-label concepts and products, as well as those for national and international contractors and manufacturers. Egbert-Jan believes design is the relationship between humans and objects and while he is extremely passionate and serious about his work, he never forgets that humour is an important part of life.
