Atlanta-based designer Chris Hardy brings an industrial and graphic character to his work, shaped by a global education in design. He earned a BFA from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and a Master of Design from the School of Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Upon returning to the U.S. in 2009, Hardy launched his career as a freelance designer, collaborating with a wide range of clients—from furniture and lighting manufacturers to interior design firms, retail brands, and design publications. His practice bridges industrial rigor with visual storytelling, creating objects that are both purposeful and expressive. For BuzziSpace, Hardy expanded the brand’s acoustical lighting portfolio with the BuzziBell pendant, a distinctive form that embodies his ability to merge function with striking graphic presence.
