Estela Vertical reflects a modern approach to lighting design, combining material honesty with architectural simplicity. Designed by Mayice, this suspension piece is defined by its balance of structure and light. Crafted in Spain from natural wood veneer, it delivers soft, ambient illumination that enhances both residential and commercial interiors. The design merges functionality with refined form, offering a timeless aesthetic that complements contemporary environments.
LZF Lamps, founded in 1994 near Valencia by Mariví Calvo and Sandro Tothill, pioneered “enveloping light” in wood veneer. Today, the brand crafts sculptural, sustainable designs that blend artistry and warmth, celebrated worldwide.
Madrid-based Mayice Studio, a multidisciplinary product design and architecture practice, was established in 2013 by Imanol Calderón Elósegui and Marta Alonso Yebra. With a sharp focus on materials—respecting both history and functionality—each design by Mayice Studio is presented with its own inherent personality, and aims to reflect the soul of a material. In much of Mayice Studio’s work, we find an intelligent dialogue between craft and technology. In all Mayice’s work with glass, the reflection and refraction of light have always been very important, with the intention that wood, light and glass build a dialogue. The collection reflects respect for the environment, the authentic and the natural, as well as the ethereal and the dreamlike.
