LZF Lamps, founded in 1994 near Valencia by Mariví Calvo and Sandro Tothill, pioneered “enveloping light” in wood veneer. Today, the brand crafts sculptural, sustainable designs that blend artistry and warmth, celebrated worldwide.
Luis Eslava studied at London’s prestigious Royal College of Art, gained work experience at Spanish contemporary footwear brand Camper and spent time living in Japan. In 2008, he moved to Spain and established his eponymous studio in Barcelona. Luis approaches design from a comprehensive viewpoint, believing that a designer should be able to propose a wide range of solutions and rethink daily life. Luis Eslava Studio has developed its experience in lighting design through collaborations with various light manufacturers, including LZF for whom the studio designed the Agatha pendant and Paisley screen. In addition, the studio has vast experience in exhibition, food and product design.
