German designer Burkhard Dämmer, trained in cabinetmaking and industrial design, sees design as solving timeless challenges. Renowned for his work with light and veneer for LZF, he has collaborated across lighting, furniture, and accessories. His award-winning creations, including Dandelion and Cervantes, embody precision, warmth, and innovation. Mariví Calvo, co-founder and creative director of LZF since 1994, has guided the brand’s artistic vision and global success. An avant-garde artist, she has designed iconic lamps such as Guijarros, Gea, and Cosmos, and oversees all LZF exhibits and campaigns, blending craftsmanship, imagination, and a poetic approach to light.
