Asap reflects a modern approach to lighting design, combining material honesty with architectural simplicity. Designed by Lucas Muñoz, this table piece is defined by its balance of structure and light. Crafted in Spain from natural wood veneer, it delivers soft, ambient illumination that enhances both residential and commercial interiors. The design merges functionality with refined form, offering a timeless aesthetic that complements contemporary environments.
LZF Lamps, founded in 1994 near Valencia by Mariví Calvo and Sandro Tothill, pioneered “enveloping light” in wood veneer. Today, the brand crafts sculptural, sustainable designs that blend artistry and warmth, celebrated worldwide.
Designer Lucas Muñoz works between his hometown of Madrid (Spain) and Eindhoven (the Netherlands). Making products since his early twenties, Muñoz creates unique and limited-edition furniture pieces, together with experimental items such as sound systems, boats, and skateboards. Muñoz has worked to create exhibitions and interior design projects from which he has developed an all-round understanding of his profession. A recent example is the restaurant project ‘MO de Movimiento’ in Madrid, for which Muñoz received the FRAME Award for ‘Best Use of Material’ and the Dezeen Award for ‘Sustainable Interior of the Year 2021’.
