Fabbian has been a cornerstone of Italian lighting design since 1961, operating from the Venetian countryside. Known for its refined modern aesthetic, Fabbian develops lighting for residential, commercial, and bespoke applications—offering products that reflect a strong heritage of craftsmanship, innovation, and Italian design excellence.
David Pellegrini (b. 1977) earned his degree in architecture from IUAV in Venice and has since worked across design, architecture, and interiors. He collaborates with architectural and engineering studios on projects of varying scale, while pursuing independent research focused on sustainability and urban development. Through participation in national and international competitions, he has refined his expertise in material experimentation—working with wood, cardboard, metal mesh, and plastics—and developing prototypes for everyday use. He collaborates closely with architect Francesca Mengato in the creation of innovative design projects. Francesca Mengato (b. 1981) graduated in architecture from IUAV in Venice in 2006 and began her career working with various design studios alongside her own freelance practice. She works on an ongoing basis with Studio Valente Architetti, specializing in architectural, executive, and interior design projects. Combining her architectural background with a passion for web marketing, she applies a multidisciplinary perspective to her work. Her strong network of relationships with both small businesses and large companies has led to a long-standing collaboration with David Pellegrini, with whom she develops projects ranging from product and graphic design to architecture and interiors.
