First conceived as an art piece, the design required a one-of-a-kind mold that redefined traditional glass blowing. Each element is crafted through 25 meticulous, hand-made steps by Venetian artisans, continuing a centuries-old heritage and uniting art, science, and culture.
The family includes two pendant and ceiling lamp sizes, featuring white milky glass tops that fade into clear bases—evoking the look of a floating cloud. Recognized with the IF Design Award in 2014, it combines hand-blown glass with layered effects, die-cast aluminum hardware, and surface or suspended installation options.

Fabbian has been a cornerstone of Italian lighting design since 1961, operating from the Venetian countryside. Known for its refined modern aesthetic, Fabbian develops lighting for residential, commercial, and bespoke applications—offering products that reflect a strong heritage of craftsmanship, innovation, and Italian design excellence.
Mathieu Lehanneur, a 2001 graduate of the French National School of Industrial Design, founded his own studio the same year, focusing on industrial and interior design. His work reflects a deep fascination with the interaction between the human body, its environment, and the scientific world. Drawing inspiration from natural history more than design history, Lehanneur views the user primarily as a living body—a site of constant chemical exchange—whose needs, desires, and emotions must be addressed. His designs explore both natural and technological possibilities, creating objects that are functional yet imbued with a sense of wonder.
