The Beluga Collection is, together with Faretti, the most prolific collection of Matthew McCormick, with pendant, wall, and ceiling lamps. The spherical diffusers rotate 360 degrees enabling the fixtures to provide direct, indirect, and ambient illumination. Beluga’s classic globe-shaped diffusers come in vibrant crystal glass, classic white glass, and polished chrome. All metallic structures are in polished chrome. Suitable for use with halogen and LED lamps.

A pioneer in plastics, he designed the first thermo-plastic ski boot and patented the symmetric shell. His award-winning designs include the Mite lamp (Foscarini) and the Dainese back protector, in MoMA.
