Alain Gilles took an unconventional path into design. After studying Political Science and Marketing Management, he worked in international finance for five years before deciding to pursue his true passion. With the support of his wife, he returned to study Industrial Design in France and, in 2007, opened his own studio. Today, Gilles’ work spans product and furniture design, art direction, and scenography—always guided by a vision for social and interactive design solutions. His corporate background gave him unique insight into the challenges of open-plan offices, inspiring innovative concepts for BuzziSpace. Each piece he designs for the brand reflects both practicality and creativity, perfectly aligning with its philosophy of rethinking the modern workspace.
