From the ingenuity of Axolight and the creativity of the designer Mario Alessiani, Float was born, a multifunctional and portable lamp, usable both outdoors and indoors, designed for different uses: table, floor, suspension, wall.

Born and raised in central Italy to architect parents, Mario Alessiani approaches design through a balance of producibility, function, and formal clarity. After studying at IED Rome and gaining experience in London, he founded his own studio in 2013 at the age of 24. His work focuses on honest expression and industrial efficiency, earning him recognition among Italy’s leading under-30 creative talents.
