The infinite light. Designed by Ray Power, Link is an intelligent light whose layered wood veneer strips are akin to the Möbius strip (in mathematics, a surface with one continuous side, like an infinite loop). Link’s billowy, cloud-like structure ensures this eye-catching lamp is a captivating feature in any space. Switched on or off, Link’s buoyant form is a clever illustration of the creative potential of light paired with wood veneer. The Link Floor lamp pairs a Large Link pendant with a metal tripod base. Exquisitely composed, the billowy Link shade is buoyant wherever it stands. The Link Floor is available in the following wood veneers: Natural Cherry, Ivory White, Natural Beech, Yellow, Orange, Red, Blue, Grey, Pale Rose, and Sea Blue.

LZF is a story of people, wood and light and the result of a peculiar encounter between two strangers. When they met, they both loved their hands and what they were capable of doing with them. Both shared a passion for the arts, for ideas, and experimenting. They coincided in their way of living and their very distinct view of the world. With an absolute belief that everything you feel can be materialised, they began to experiment. Till one night, playing with some wood veneers, they managed to envelop light. LZF was born.
Irish-born designer Ray Power has collaborated with LZF Lamps since 1998. With an inventive approach to lighting design, he has created many of LZF’s best known lights. Ray’s Air (2008), Link (2007) and New Wave (2015) lamps for LZF were awarded the Red Dot, Chicago Good Design and Chicago Green Good Design awards respectively. Most recently, his Swirl pendant was accorded a 2017 Special Mention by the German Design Council. Ray’s work has been exhibited on the international stage: in Milan, Valencia, Dublin, Madrid and Tokyo. His trademark style is based on geometry and he shows an inherent propensity to create stirring three-dimensional forms with flat materials.
