Lumi HP LED F66 – the evolution of our Lumi F07 collection combines Venetian craftsmanship with the configurability and flexibility of a lighting system and was developed in response to the needs of the commercial marketplace. Lumi HP LED F66’s defining element is the beautiful hand-blown three-layer glass that creates seamlessly diffused illumination with no visible stem, cover, or plastic elements when viewed from below. The collection includes Sfera, Mochi, Baka, and Mycena shapes in suspension and surface mount forms (Mycena only). What sets this collection apart from Lumi is the updated High Performance 120-277V 90+CRI LED light source. This HP LED source enables the user to tailor the fixture to their project. Remote drivers can power multiple fixtures from a single driver. 120V to 277V input allows Lumi HP LED to be used in residential and commercial applications. Lumi HP LED can be dimmed with ELV or 0-10V dimmers with DALI, and Lutron controls options. A range of color temperature choices supports residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality sectors. A selection of mounting hardware allows the creation of just the right look. Accessorize the Baka, Mochi, and Sfera pendants with Cappello, spun aluminum caps, to transform their appearance and function. Cappello is offered in two shapes, Cone and Dome, three sizes each, and four painted finishes. In addition to these electrical changes, Lumi HP LED F66 includes wipe-down covers for healthcare, school, or view-from-above applications. Alberto Saggia was born in Novara on 21 August 1978. After completing scientific studies he attended university and obtained a degree in Industrial Design at the Milan Polytechnic, specialising in lighting. After finishing his university studies, in 2004 he began working with the firm Metis Lighting of Milan, where he continues to be employed in lighting design and the development of custom-made lighting solutions. In recent years, he has also held lighting design lessons in university courses, as well as been involved in design and graphic projects as a free-lance professional. Valerio Sommella was born in Cortona in 1980. He obtained an honours degree in industrial design at Milan Polytechnic in 2004, the year he began working with Stefano Giovannoni. In 2007, he left Milan and moved to Amsterdam where he joined the team of Marcel Wanders until, in 2009, he decided to go it alone. He returned to Italy and set up shop once and for all in Milan where he started designing products that go from furnishings to consumer electronics for Italian and international clients; he also teaches at the Marangoni Institute.
