A perfect dialog between different materials and a suspended light source: that is Plot. Inspired by the weaving of oriental bamboo scaffolding, Plot gives a feeling of lightness and suspension, thanks to the play of balances where the light source is supported through the interweaving of the metal rods. Plot combines different materials such as black metal or brass satin finishes with crystal or smoky glass.

It is rare for a company to be able to tell the stages of such a long history. In fact, Vistosi was born in the last millennium, almost six centuries ago in the cradle that gave birth to the most referenced glass masters in this now almost lost artisan art. Vistosi today is a 2.0 craft industry with one of the largest owned glass mills in Europe, an in-house research and development department, an workshop, and a network of established and qualified local suppliers. Definitely one of the few companies where the value chain is managed to guarantee constant product quality. In fact, if Made in Italy is still one of the most successful brands today, it is thanks to companies like Vistosi that have managed to innovate without penalising product quality.
Only a long apprenticeship at a glassworks and the careful observation of craftsmanship transforms a generic designer into a glass designer Alfredo Chiaramonte was born in Bologna in 1961. Marco Marin was born in Venice in 1964. In 1989 the professional partnership between Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin was launched, with the foundation of the eponymous Designstudio. Both share a passion for objects which manifest as industrial products. Their professional interest ranges across numerous fields (interior, graphic, industrial, lighting) and benefits from the permeation of experiences and knowledge they have gained over the years, thus creating an interdisciplinary perspective, a kind of humus to fertilize the soil of their ideas. This is, for example, how the long-standing collaboration with Murano glass companies has allowed them to short-circuit two apparently different fields, creating several lines of objects, glasses and blown glass lamps for leading companies. They have collaborated with companies in the furniture and publishing sector including Andromeda International, Axo Light, Artificia, Bonaldo, Calligaris, Cattelan Italia, Emu group, Eurobags, Stasis, Fornasarig, Gruppo editoriale Gemina, Hoffman Italia, Miniforms, Moulinex, NasonMoretti, Renault Italia, Sica and Vistosi.
